Future is in our bags and we try to bag our future through their manufacture, declare members of Sri Vani SHG located in Pernamitta area of Ongole town. Six members of the SHG (out of ten) joined hands to conduct business dealing in jute bags. Though their group was formed some time ago it was ultimately merged with MEPMA groups in the year 2012 when Ongole town was made a municipal corporation. It became highly proactive during the last couple of years (2015-16). All the six in the group: S. Sridevi, M. Anjamma, N. Praveena, N. Vijayalaxmi, K. Padmavathi and V. Naga Prasanna have put their respective group loans to optimal use: receiving a grant of 10 lakhs from bank linkage, each member invested 90% of individual share in the business ...
