To enable the urban poor particularly the poorest of the poor to eliminate poverty and vulnerability in a sustainable manner and improve their quality of life in urban areas.

Vijaya Lakshmi participated in YSR Sunna Vaddi Scheme launch by Hon'ble Chief Minister Sri YS Jagan Mohan Reddy held at CM Camp Office,Tadepalli. Concerned officials and beneficiaries also participated in the launch event on 23rd April, 2021.
COVID Vaccination to SHG Women:
To ensure the safety of Self Help Group women amidst the spread of COVID second wave, MEPMA is creating awareness to Self Help Group Women on vaccine and ensuring the administering of Vaccine to eligible women as well as their family members. Adopting COVID appropriate behaviour, Health Resource Persons at Community level are bursting the myths on vaccination by creating awareness on its benefits. These awareness campaigns are being implemented in every ULB of the districts across the State.
MoU Signing Ceremony with Partner companies under YSR Cheyutha
In order to uplift the economic standards of women beneficiaries by promoting sustainable livelihoods, signing of Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) between the GoAP and the Partner companies under YSR Cheyutha Scheme was held at O/o Commissioner, PR&RD, Tadepalli.
